Summary

Mathematics competitions in the modern day is common to be inspired by famous mathematicians that contributed significantly throughout the history of math. Popular examples not stated above would be Gauss contests, Pythagoras contests, Newton contests and more.

If you believe you have an exceptional mathematic ability beyond the scope of the school curriculum, you are heavily encouraged to apply for these competitions. As getting a good score could heavily boost your probability to enrol in desired universities.
