This article will be focusing on the interview with Ms. Morit and her answers to common questions regarding English.

Importance of English

English is an important language, not only because it is the most spoken language in the world due to colonial history, but also because most career paths contains some levels of English elements into it, whether you are a medical student writing reports about surgeries, a trader writing analysis, or just writing an email to a co-worker. They all contains english communication and writing skills that will be crucial for the majority of your life.

Advantage and Disadvantage:

Like stated before, English is the most spoken language in the world, so by learning it, you are opening pathways to communicate with people. But learning English is one of the most difficult languages to master, as English doesn't regularly follows its rules. Which makes Spanish and French an easier language to learn. But learning a language is good for your brain afterall.

Most boring things about reading

The most boring part about English would be the reading, but only when reading something that you doesn't like. It's fun when you get to choose the book that you read, like the independent novel study. Ms. Morit recommends animal farm and Shakespeare, but The New Yorkers are also great for a modern type lover.

Ms. Morit's classroom

A common lesson would be learning English techniques from literary works like poem, essay and stories. But she believes the hardest part of the courses would be learning grammar.

Summary:

Ms. Morit talks about the importance of English, including reasons and examples into why learning English is difficult but also beneficial to your brain, other than the massive amounts of job opportunities you could get just by learning English. In this modern age, learning English is a necessity, and is standardized in all countries. Although some might place more emphasis on their local language(s), English is still taught to some degree whether as a first, second or third language in every country.
